History

Released in 2016 on PC and in 2017 on consoles, Redout won 14 national and international awards, including the accolade as the best Italian videogame of the year. A tribute to classic AG racing legends of the past such as Wipeout and F-Zero.
Speed, adrenaline, fast-paced action, and eye-popping graphics are trademarks of this franchise, and Redout: Space Assault’s fascinating story is a prequel to the original Redout.

Highlights
The Story
The year is 2395. Humanity is facing the most perilous, daunting, and desperate challenge in its existence: fleeing Earth . Hundreds of satellites, drones, and terraforming robots have been sent to the outskirts of the Solar System. Brave scientists and colonists have taken off towards inhospitable new worlds, often on one-way journeys, to build a new home for humanity. Now, tales of lush green landscapes, rivers, and abundant resources run through the void on radio messages, from the Moon to Mars.
You are Leon Barret, a starfighter pilot caught in the middle of an interplanetary conflict. Assemble your fighter and upgrade its engines, wings, and shield generators to take on more and more powerful enemies - from Combat Corvettes to gargantuan vessels - and set sail toward the stars.
Intense Dogfights in Space
Step into the cockpit of your fighter, strategically pick your loadout, and fire up your weapons. Challenge your skills and reflexes while assaulting mighty Corvettes, escorting Cargo ships, shaking combat drones off your tail, engaging in furious 1v1 space duels, infiltrating colossal Motherships, and destroying them from within.
Discover the Story Behind Redout
Humanity is fleeing Earth. An Independent fleet (pirates, rejects, rogue colonies) and the Colonization fleet fight for the necessary resources to make their way to the stars. This intriguing plot will allow you to experience the struggles of humanity during these dark days, growing in ranks from simple recruit to the best fighter pilot of the Solar System.
